Mitchum Motorsports overview
Mitchum Motorsports is fielding the No. 62 and No. 6 Riley Technologies Chevrolet Camaros in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge in 2012. Drivers Joey Atterbury and Gunter Schaldach will co-drive the No. 62 while George Richardson and Tim Bell will share the No. 6 car.
Founded in 2001, Mitchum Motorsports competes in multiple professional and club venues, including the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, NASA, SCCA and PCA. Team principal Chris Mitchum brings vast experience from both sides of the pit wall from driving, coaching, managing, crew chief and consulting. Team members have more than 30 years of professional motorsport experience from series including the GRAND-AM Rolex Series and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Trans-Am, Firestone Firehawk and IMSA.
Team Parr overview
Parr Motorsport, holder of the 2001 British GT Championship GTO title, is part of the Parr Group, founded by the father and son partnership of Ray and Paul Robe. The company started operations in 1985 from small premises in Old Coulsden, Surrey. Such modest beginnings belied Paul's ambitious plans, and his ownership of a Porsche and admiration for the marque developed into a dedication.
Paul Robe and his team are seasoned Porsche specialists. running a Porsche tuning and preparation businesses as well as running a professional race team, this makes Parr motorsports one of the most experienced and successful team in Porsche Carrera Cup GB.
Drivers include George Richardson, Ben Barker and Chris Dymond, this is the youngest line up in the paddock for 2012 and is a force to be reckoned with.
