Following a successful maiden Nurburgring 24 Hours race for the new BMW M6 GT3 PlayStation filmed the entire build up to the race and the activity of the race in a short film that has become a viral sensation to help the launch of the new Gran Turismo game by Polyphony Digital.
24 year old racing driver George Richardson played a big part in the production seeing him feature in the film that has been viewed over 100,000 times on YouTube and countless viewings in various other channels online.
PlayStation and Polyphony, title sponsors of Walkenhorst Motorsport’s M6 GT3 were delighted with the outcome of the film. It delivered a huge Return on investment for the sponsors and helped raise awareness of BMW and the famous N24 race to consumers that aren’t necessarily big racing fans.
